Born as a collaborative force shaped by musicians from across the Italian heavy music scene, Margin Code channel years of creative work into a sound that balances atmospheric depth, intricate rhythmic structures and explosive modern metal energy, resulting in a fully formed modern progressive metal identity from the outset.

The project seeks to explore experiences that lie on the thin line between abstraction and reality, using numerical symbolism to delve into the duality of order and chaos, first introduced in their debut single Cult of Mantis: an uncompromising first chapter from a band only just emerging, yet already pointing toward something larger in motion.

That duality finds its counterpoint in Awaken, the second chapter of the trilogy, which turns toward absolute nihilism as the antithesis of the blind faith explored in Cult of Mantis. The track charts a journey that questions and dismantles every form of faith, hope and certainty, leaving the trilogy’s synthesis still to come.
